Maya on Linux

Does anybody here run Maya on a Linux distro like ubuntu, fedora, OpenSUSE etc? I'm running 2009 sp1a on 10.6 and have had no end of graphics issues with my setup. Any issues?

I used to run Maya 6.5 on a SGI Octane2 so can tinker under the old *NIX hood if need be.

Thinking of dual-booting, as I also use Photoshop.

Will be running on the rig in my sig...

Cheers!

Last time I checked, it worked just fine with Fedora. It also works on Suse I hear.

But this is why whenever a new OS comes out, you research the problems, and should wait until fixes are found. There are always these kinds of issues.
