Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
I'm just replacing David for a few months, possibly a few years, as he's disappeared to open a bar.
As for the sites, I'd also like to see them come together as simply3Dworld so I'm going to do my best to make that happen. A lot of work was done on it a couple of years ago but the prototype is looking a bit out of date by now so we're starting from scratch again. It is my intention to get going on it after Christmas as January is a terribly slow month.
Before that though, we're going to release some new content because in the past year there hasn't been a lot of stuff going out. I'll keep you updated and post some previews of the new simply3Dworld and hopefully you guys will give me some pointers.
