Chris Jones' The Passenger
It's a short (7 min) animation that took this guy 8 years to make, and won him an award in Australia.
Absolutely excellent in my opinion, got me motivated to get modelling and studying again!

did you see the stats...
# Render times averaged about 3 hours per frame
# The longest render was about 8 hours per frame
# An average of 0.74 seconds of film were completed per week (that's including animation, sound, everything)
wow, thats dedication! if i had done it, it might have only been 148 seconds rather than 7 minutes.

haha thats him, i think he is from baltimore tho. his portrait is really amusing... its good and really detailed and what not, but the subject matter is all wrong. so played out and boring.Originally posted by Dango77
