Looking good bullet. Keep up the good work. The wires are looking good. I like the subject too. I used to build 1/48th scale WWII models and I had a Lancaster and Mosquito at on point.
One of my favorite movies and I can't remember the name but it was about the dam busters with the bombs that skipped on top of the water. Had some great lancaster bomber sequences.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks mate!!!! Its all by feel atm but I am giving it a good go. 'The Dambusters" was a good film and 'Mosquito Squadron' was the other. As my Granddad (Australian) flew in both I watch them every now and then, cracking movies. I am building a Mossie 1/48th and have a Lanc and B17 1/72 waiting in the wings. I hope to use the Mossie when complete as a visual for a Maya model. The Mossie is Airfix BUT the fuselage doesnt fit, so I will have to force it together, it must have been warped in production. It is an advantage having a model for reference!!

Ok guys,
I dont have much time after work but I have changed a few things. I looked at some diagrams for a plastic model kit and realise the inner engines/cowling were too short. I have lengthened them to reflect the correct sizing. I probably still havent got it spot on but it looks more realistically scaled.

Thanks Dave,
we have one in the Museum in Perth, sadly she doesnt fly so you are extremely lucky to see one in the air. They are really a beautiful aircraft!!! sad they were a fool of war though. I think I will have trouble with the gunmounts, we shall see.
