Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

I suspect more likely to be SOLIDworks, Pro/E or CATIA or something like that? Think it would be way too painful to create that in ACAD..! :headbang:

I dont know mate,

I have seen some good stuff in ACAD though. It has similar abilities as Maya Im told, engineering wise anyway? I would think the model may have been doen like that and then exported for animation?? Still good though.

This table and book was done in ACAD 2010 mate so maybe ACAD is capable?

Nice.

I remember making an airfix one as a kid many many years ago. I remember being awed at the film 633 squadron. Planes on wires!!! awsome.

This plane however was so cool, a fighter bomber armed to the teeth, hence being made of Balsa wood.

Now youre talking Jay, bahahahah 633 Squadron, remember the fillum well and yes REAL planes eh!!! My Grandad got to fly a few sorties in them, then he went to Lancs.

The Germans never built one that could compete and if I remember correctly it was one of the fastest planes built in the time?? I am building one right now and my son got one as well, though my fuselage is warped and I cant get the bugger to line up and stick, not even with superglue!!!

Both are Airfix, mines a 1/48 his is a 1/72. I even bought an Aztec airbrush @ $300 plus, its still in the box!! I also have an Airfix 1/72 Lanc and ab Academy 1/72 B17 to do. I will post them in the lounge whenever I get them done.

P.S Jay

I think they were called 'The wooden wonder' too?

Yeah I believe so on the name.

Ah warping.....warm it up a bit first to soften the plastic, hot water or something then glue it and tape it tight. I had the same trouble on the Millennium Falcon kit - real pain in the arse!!

Its one of those old tricks that usually works. Same if you have a wooden kit to build, but just wet the wood and bend slowly.

I did mate....bahahahahaha it didnt work, even put it on the tin roof in middle of Perth summer, roof about 75c!!! The glue wont bloody hold it! I will try liquid friggin nails next bro..baha

Yeh well versed in models bro, 30 years now on and off. I know the prices arent cheap!!! Average 1/72 bomber is around $50 now.

I have tried getting the Falcon here in Perth but I will have to go online I think. Stanbridges are fairly good but they dont seem to cater for much sci-fi in Perth, dont know why. Melbourne was brilliant but bloody expensive.

I will try the water on the plastic, the roof was getting too hot but it is seriously warped. Something went wrong when they took the mould apart I would say.
