Skinning Problem

Hi Guys,

I'm skinning a game character i'm working on, however i'm having some problems,

all was going fine until i noticed one of the fingers is having some influence on a part of the hand it shouldn't be,

but for some reason when i click on the geometry it doesn't show the right influence list, it only shows the bones for the foot and not the upper Joints
i'm using maya 2011, and i haven't pinned the joints, so it doesn't make sence why only these joints are the only ones showing up,

can anyone help me get the other joints to show up,

Sorry guys,

The joints are showing up now, all i did was close maya and open it up again ,

some times maya can make me sooo mad it's not even funny:headbang:
