Duplicating

Hi. I created a book by making a polygon cube and manipulating it. Now I am happy with it, I want to duplicate it so i dont need to repeat the process. I select it and go to duplicate, but I always get the error "No Object to duplicate". As I say, it is selected, so do i need to do something special to get this duplicated?

cheers

Make sure you are selecting the model in 'object' mode...not faces or verts, (as far as I can remember LOL). So highlight the object...RMB and select 'object' then 'CTRL D' to duplicate...then'w' to move it away from the original. You can then just press 'SHIFT d' to duplicate as many as you want.
