best approach..?

I'm having to model a car as a class assignment. i'm doing ok generally, but i'm wondering what the easiest approach is for the arches. I've boolean-ed them out and cleaned up best I can, but i get the feeling i'm going to get in a bit of mess.
is there a best approach for a rookie?

heres what i've done so far...

You need to clean up the mesh more, snap vert and merge from the car body to the created boolean verts not the other way round if after this there are still some vert on boolean add edge create loop to connect them...........dave
