Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Ah Check pieces! I have always wanted to make a set.

I guess they can look anyway you want them to. If you want some kind of critic, I'd say that I like the "rise" of the king. How aobut some stronger articulation of the base, without loosing what I'd like to call the "rising", a straight rise with no curvatureat the sides.

first off, i think you mean chess, not check.

I am going off of the glass set is have, (Makeing them a brassy wood however.) My kind has a soft base. The other pieces i have have a stronger base.

Hey ultra games, looks like you are learning fast. Good job. One thing though, wooden chess pieces dont have that much reflection.. maybe you could tone that down a bit?

HAHAAH! Finaly people are asking me questions. If you'll remember when i first joined this forum. I said I was great at photoshop, but wanted to learn Maya? Its a double screen shot editing trick i did in PS.

Take one shaded, one wireframe, put one over the other. Get your eraser and set it to a blured brush, and erase a stripe down the middle. Magical isnt it.

I thought that's what you had done, but wan't sure. Just wanted to make sure I hadn't passed up some special render option in Maya I mysteriously didn't know about, yet.

Hey ultragames, are you sure you are entitled to say you are great in photoshop? I have seen your website but you dont really have any proof that your great on there. Maybe if you can show me some otherthings you have made. Also when you say great.. do you think of yourself as a pro? Once again just another question. Ok cya.
