Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Colin's Bear Animation

I just caught this in a thread somewhere, I hadn't seen it before and it made me laugh. It was made by an animation student who wasn't happy with the CG education he recieved at his school, so for those of you going to school in the new year make sure to pick with careuser added image Or take revenge like this...

Lol yeah that one is a classic piece. I remember when I first saw it, I was thinking "uhh what?" then started laughing uncontrollably when I saw the credits.

Ha Ha.

Really innovative way of expressing his anguish and anger. He would have sure done better if he had been to a good school.

Haven't we done this one before?

He added the 'thanks for nothing' afterwards and he only did one module in 3D; the context kind of takes the fun out of it but I think it's necessary to protect the university's reputation a bit.

Could be wrong, but I think the bear came from somewhere other than the uni too.

Edit: Yeah, I know that's open season or whatever the movie was, but I'm fairly sure the modelling section of the book is the bear.

Edit after yet another view: Yeah... just keeps getting funnier.
