This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
"Transformers Prime" - Anyone seen it apart from me
With all the talk of cartoons and stuff lately I ask this simple question - has anyone seen "Transformers Prime" - its truly quick good. Its on some channel called "the Hub" in USA coming to Europe soon
It has kicked parts from the films (Bubblebee, Soundwave) and the Transformers animated cartoon (Bulkhead older Ratchet) but at it heart is the 80`s cartoon. Respecting the old and I like it - Just watched the mini series (Ep`s 1 - 5)and the bulk of series 1 (eps 6 -12 out of 15). Ser 2 just started work on.
But even if you are not a fan check out the cg in series 1 more than the mini series - its really good for a tv show/series.
About time we got some good transformers - here is looking forward to Thundercats now as the new G.I Joe toon sucks
Well the new transformers 3 trailer is up - huh humans everywhere very little footage of transformers - another mess of cg poop i think - even with shockwave in it.
I'd rather have them think of new stuff and to be honest I don't like the clone wars and this new transformers , call me old, nostalgic, but I like the old ones more: YouTube - Transformers Episode 2
These were obviously cheap cartoons as well, but at least it doesn't look like a picasso painting ( with the rough cuts and shapes )
I was actually impressed with the CG Clone Wars mastone....the lighting etc was brilliant...I had never heard of it...I knew about the cartoons but not the CG one.
cheers bullet
P.S I remember the old cartoons...they look cheap but they did the trick
