Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

mirror geometry

Hi, when i tried to apply mirror geometry to my head model, the vertexs at the mouth opening will merge together, how do i solve that?

When you have done the merge on the right hand side in the channel box there will be the opperation merge you have just done open that up and change the merge threshold to say some thing like 0.01 or 0.001...........dave

Thanks, it does work but not as perfect as i thought. Still need to do some adjustments
