Question about the Autodesk Maya 2008 book...

Hey guys, what is delimiting?

On pg. 68 it's telling me how to create eye sockets and says: "Extrude the face, delimiting the eye 3 times." user added image

here is a snap of the book I'm using just in case user added image

Thanks Miss Nova! I've noticed this book, in several areas often just shows photos with minor directions (or none at all on certain steps)... so it's hard to tell what the author has done! user added image

Does anyone recommend any other Maya books besides this one? I'd like to go through 2 or 3 different books to learn different styles. It really helps if I have reference material.
