I accidentally set something and what's happening is this... CLICK HERE

I'm a total beginner. I only learned Maya by myself so I only rely on the net but the thing is, I don't even know what happened so please help me. It seems like when I move a certain edge, face or vertex, it also moves the other elements around it. It somewhat like moves them collectively.

looks like you have soft selection turned on. to turn it of press 'b

lol yeah turning on soft selection by accidentally hitting the b button is common
