I'm trying to unwrap a mesh but whenever I zoom really close to select edges parts of the mesh begin disappearing when I rotate the viewcube around when they should be in view. I zoom back out to normal distance and suddenly the mesh is clipping and disappearing like mad where it formerly displayed normally. I increase the far clip and decrease the near clip and its back to normal until I zoom in again and it starts clipping and disappearing again.
If your far clip plane is large, you must also raise your near clipping plane. Sometimes it can cause problems having a small near plane, and a large far plane.
