Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Imho that sound issue is just propaganda. I believe no company will use the cooling system directly from the reference card. Give it some time and FX will prosper. Drivers will be more stable and faster with time. And DX9 isn't even out yet...

Does the Geforce FX have a motherboard that will be able to support it yet? Like will it run off of any board with a 8x agp? Ok, just a question.. cya

I was really excited about FX but now after the first benchmarks I'm kinda dissapointed... And with ATIs R350 I belive Nvidia will have a hard time taking the 1st spot back (in performance). Maybe one should wait for the NV35 or something...

Nope, the 5es have always been the updated versions... Like the Geforce 3 was the first generation of pixel shaders and it was NV20 and the Geforce 4 was an "upgraded" Geforce 3 and was called NV25. I read somewhere Nvidia was releasing a NV32/33 that was going to be for the inbetweens (probably equivalent to MX, GTS and PRO) but the NV35 is going to be the same sort of jump as the GF3=>GF4.
