Man AWESOME,

Canal+
The Canal+ bear one I thought was totaly unique and really well done, a great take on a mini fly-on-the-wall documentary.

Twingings
I love how the CG industry is taking the new concept of CGI and putting it into the old hand drawn effect and toon styled cartoons, like Storm Hawks. This has to be my favourite of all 4, as it breaks into relativly new ground for CGI

Jonny Walker
Fantastic example of superb enviroment modelling crossing into organic with a lot of dynamics and heavy animation. Superb.

Hamblor
I liked this, but it is only doing what has already been done. Nothing new here. the chicks were the highlight for me.

I kind of agree about Twinings. i wouldn't say it was particularly breaking new ground for CGI. Its really nice, there are some lovely shots in it. Its just some motion graphics thing tho. There is a really nice quality about it, more so than toon shading. I wouldn't compare it to Storm Hawks. I googled some images and unless i'm looking at the wrong stuff, Storm Hawks looks really basic. Its like any other kids show. The kind of show they keep basic so they can produce them quickly.

Dom what I mean with the likeness is they are sticking to the hand drawn effect. I know these 2 things are hugely different, with storm hawks sticking to typical cell shaders, and the twinings heading for the more traditional hard drawn pencil effect. My point was they have both headed down a new approach of looking like they were drawn and not produced on CGI.

sorry man, that Storm Hawks looked completely 2D to me. Its also from 2007 which is pretty old in terms of CGI. Have a look at this as an example of good toon shading.

You're back dom, nice user added image And that's a really impressive CG bird Creck.

I just watched this well-made ad by Studio Aka which turns oil drilling into a children's adventure funny thing.
