New project.. My favorite X men.

New side project... my favorite X men, Night Crawler he is pretty cool and yes part of the reason I like him so much is he has the same first name lol.

Anyway spent the moring getting the base mesh all ready for Zb, still have to adjust some stuff before i get into the sculpt but not bad for a few hours of work.

Started work on the leg just hints of muscle under the pants. Off to the lower parts and feet.

Great job, and good character too.

Although i think his tail needs to be a little longer. I recall seeing him reach around his body to grab things in front of him before.

I dont recognize that uniform though. Is this from his Excaliber run?

Thanks guys, i can adjust his tail and leg muscle pretty easy just some smoothing and moving the tail. Got the lower part heel shaped abit more just the feet left then off to Uv mapping and real textures.

His outfit is pretty much out of my head as far as design while keeping the feel of some of his comic look and style.

Got an idea for a illustration if I have time.

It looks good. I have a while before I pump out anything that looks this clean. Wondering if you used mesh extract or a maya build for the outfit? I know the base is out of maya.

Doesn't he have glyphs carved all over him?

Chav: about 95% of the base is built in maya, the big white X that wraps around to his back was a ZB mesh extract which i'll most likely clean up soon. At his low base he is 22000 active points.

ctbram: In the movie he had a lot of glyphs on his face and body.

Wire for you to see.

Sort that ear out, it looks stuck on the side of his head. Cartoon style or otherwise it wouldnt really look like that.
