Shadow contour

Hi everyone,

is it possible to use shadows as countour for an object and set all the other lighted area to invisible(alpha) - like this picture for example
https://www.inkspotstudio.com/images/...Face%20med.JPG ?

I've tried around with ramp shader on my object, including ramp material(black/white) as transparency - but those combination won't be affected by the light :/

Thanks in advance!

Try baking a shadow map, UV your head then set up your lighting then bake to texture......dave
