google/bing/search-engine-you-like will help you. Sorry, I don't know of any off the top of my head. It's all webpage or video tutorials (is there a reason why you prefer pdf over webpages?)

are you after something in particular?

if you're just starting off you should look at the tutorials that come with maya

that's a "Ch" pronounced as a "K"

Computer skills I should have:
Objective C, C#, Java, MEL. Python, C++, XML, JavaScript, XSLT, HTML, SQL, CSS, FXScript, Clips, SOAR, ActionScript, OpenGL, DirectX
Maya, XSI, Photoshop, AfterEffects, Motion, Illustrator, Flash, Swift3D

Hey thanks. The webpages i've tried didn't help much, they require 1 2pay 1st as 4video tutorials, i've limited access, (am in Zimbabwe), so PDFs download a lil bit faster. If u know of any webpages, that can help out, i'd be more than grateful, basics that is, til i can make my own Stuart Little.

Try out the free tutorials from Autodesk

https://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet...linkID=9242256

If you can actually get through all of these lessons you will have an excellent understanding of Maya and should be able to do a lot their tuts are good.

Other than that I would still recommend the videos here they are the best by far. Very detailed and excellent to watch while working. The file sizes are pretty small try downloading just a few maybe over night.

also try youtube and google and search for specific words (e.g. Maya car tutorial) Usually you'll find a good free tutorial within the first page - there are tons of them. I'm also using Maya 2012, but most tutorial I use are for 2010/2011 or 2008 - but Maya interface is very similar, so don't let that discourage you.

Yup indeed, I agree with Issac123, I think that you can google to find some PDF tutorials esp for 2012 or download through PDF website directly, but but most tutorials I can find in my PC are for 2010/2011 or 2008. Sorry for that. Good luck.
