Job Interview with the BBC

Yes - sorry not been around much but most projects have been on hold while I got some work done for a interview at the BBC Wales as a ‎3D Broadcast Designer - and so not to jinx it kept quite about it.

Have done loads of work for my challenge entry - just keep forgetting to post some WIP`s
Well I got the interview and its next week so fingers crossed.

I have no idea how many I am up against but my foot is though the door for now ....

Job role

BBC Cymru Wales, Post Production and Graphic Design, is looking for 3D/CGI design to join our highly creative and talented design team, to work across a variety these high profile and local productions.

Requirements
You will need to originate design concepts, within MAYA and be responsible for, planning, production and delivery, whilst working to agreed schedules and budgets. You will also have relevant experience within the 3D/CGI broadcast/FX industry, with proven design creative ability in the field.

hey i found this additional information on the BBC site.

Additionally your duties will include:

3D/CGI design for: in-programme content, VR sets, real time/live graphics for productions such as Elections, VFX
To prepare, collate and research preparatory material to support the design concept and prepare such initial work as necessary to convey the design intention
To manage time, resources and budgets, efficiently and effectively.
To offer cost effective solutions to meet requirements whilst maintaining creative quality and standards.

Sounds pretty good, hope this helps.
There are so many unemployed in the UK now, that i forget how I am pretty lucky to be in work.

btw, not 100% sure what VR sets were, so i googled it and found this guy.
https://www.mikeafford.com/tv-graphics/index.html
i assume they want something similar to what this guy does.
