Why reboot TNMT? They have already made 3 films and one CGI cartoon. Only one that did any good was the first movie that came out in 1990. Rebooting this franchise doesn't make any sense. Bay is taking a big gamble on this because TNMT is no where near as famous as transformers. There are an number of cool 1980's cartoon franchises that have not made it to the big screen that could be huge hits. Silver Hawks, Mask, Centurions, and Galaxy Rangers to name a few.

I was expiating this thread to appear...

I don't really understand why people get so annoyed, since it's not like him rebooting it means the old cartoons and films cease to exist but I think I might feel differently when in he tries to reboot pokemon or something else from my childhood in 10 years time.

its the fact that he is messing with a key element in which makes TMNT, TMNT. because if he does this then they are no longer what they were, and something completely different in which case he can't claim that it is what it is.

I was trying to figure out what the news was, and my wife told me to stop listening to offensive videos. Haha.

I read about the TMNT thing, don't remember where. I had to chuckle about the condescending tone he took, but then again, I find every one of his movies to be a steaming pile of pretentious crap. The TMNT story is what it is, if you feel what is at the core of the story isn't good enough then why bother.

If he touches any of them - I`ll hunt him down and chop of his head using some of the piece of crap toys from transformers.

Plz god stop him from making any more movies involving my childhood.

This is just laughable...she probably wasnt even born or at the most was a two year old when the first ever movie came out. People get on their high horses about how their childhood is being raped and all that crap....so much arse, they really should get out more often and as Next Design said move on. Not everything is gonna be to everyones taste at the end of the day. Change can be for the better.

Heres a fact for you. I am by no means a Star Trek fan...I cant stand the series or those movies, but that reboot by J.J Abrams worked wonders and I adore that film...I'm a fan...not a trekkie but am a fan. So what I'm saying is before you judge what the hell is going on, with Turtles and because Bay is linked, sit it out and wait.....you may just eat your words.

I still guarantee you'll go see it when it comes out....which then poses my next question.....

At any one time, and be truthful.....how many of you HAVE been to the cinema and paid to see a Michael Bay movie without any regard to the fact he directed the film??

come seriously who has...and no excuses...I just want a simple hands up.

Jay
