maya 300 dpi

H, i been trying to render a image with the resolution set to 300 but when i rendered it out, the resolution is still 72. Anyway to render out in 300dpi?

i see. Then in maya, i tried to render at 7000px but the render turns out into a empty blue screen. what's wrong with it?
