This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Bump maps on beveled objects

Hi,

I have a bump map that works fine on a plane or cube, but once i bevel the cube, i lose the bump!

How can i fix this?

maybe apply the map to each individual face

align the UVs.... or try projection mapping... should work
