Model replication

Okay, hopefully this will make sense. I've been modeling this boxing ring with seats around it. I modeled one chair and then just duplicated it 100 times. This has made my file huge and slow. Is there a way I can just have all the seats show up in the render, but not have to duplicate them in the actual scene. If not, thanks anyways. user added image

Yes, use instancing instead of duplicating the geometry. This will only create one shape node and a whole bunch of transform nodes. Then in your viewport, you can either hide them or use bounding box mode to speed things up. There might be a better solution, but you can try that.
