Maya 2014 IMF_Disp not opening

Hi,

I ran my render for a basic render and then went to:
File>Load Render Pass>i.e.diffuse.

Now normally, IMF_Disp should open, right? It's not arggh...I navigated to the folder in the Mental Ray plugin(2014 no longer has mental ray inside), and found the application for IMF_Disp and it runs perfectly fine.

Any ideas? I'm new to this part of Maya(taking classes).

ps I get a yellow error strip but the real biggy is that my script editor is still going nuts with commands popping up loadModule -scan;
moduleDetectionLogic;
over and over and over...it;s not stopping.

No I didn't have it uninstalled, the original that is. I can try that next user added image.

Ok I clean uninstalled Maya 2014, and reinstalled the sp3. Still same issue. imf_Disp is not working.

And a firewall isn't blocking Maya? This all seems weird, missing files and whatnot. Maybe poke Autodesk about this.

LOL yeah it's weird. I'm the one in school that always finds things like this LOL. Funny but not funny, you know what I mean?

If I find this little bug out, I'll let everyone know. Argh Maya.

I do know that the imc_Dsp file opens just fine on it's own, but for some reason Maya will not open it from the render view even all the rest of the Mental Ray stuff is working.

So, i see that you have been struggling with the issue i am having. Your imf thread path in google brought me here user added image did you find any solution for the problem.

As of now, no. I have not fixed it. I looked into Maya's default, and pointed it to the IMF, but it still was being difficult. Must be somewhere else is all I can figure.
