Cylinder Triangles

Hey guys!
From what I've been taught recently, is that you need to have no triangles in your mesh but how do you do that with a cylinder?
Do I just leave it? Or start again and create it differently? If so, how?

Thanks guys!

If your mesh is not going to deform during animation say in the case of a character's arm then you'll be fine.

Keeping a clean mesh is important but a few triangles and ngons on non deforming geo are not going to make any difference.

Seriously? Oh wow! I thought it was against the whole modelling rules to even have 1 triangle!
Thanks so much!

There is most definitely a way to to that but as David said, it isn't a big deal in this case.

No Ngons though...noooooooo.

If you work in games, tris are acceptable...but film is quads!
