Solid colored dot control curves for Rig?

https://www.dropbox.com/s/ykwbxs5l8o...2008.42.59.pnguser added image

Hi. I wanted to see if anyone knows how the colored dots are made for control curves for a rig. Do I planar the surface of the circle curve, but then how do I apply the color?

Sorry, having a serious brain spaz moment user added image.

Thanks!

Sean

Right click and apply new texture > lambert. Change the color of the lambert. Actually a surface shader would probably work better.

I don't know if that will work for NURBS surfaces.

It should... surfaces can have materials just the same as poly objects. And sorry, by apply new texture, I meant Assign New Material...

Hum. Ok. when I assigned new material it didn't react. No worries. Thanks though for the response.

Have you hit '6' on the keyboard?

I would create a sphere, assign a new lambert to it, set it's color to black, and set it's incandescence to the color that you want.
