Complex UV Layout in Maya

correcting mesh while skin weighting

hello. i have a following problem: im skin weighting a character, and i needed to insert an edge loop after i started the weighting. now the vertecies of that edge loop can not be influenced by joints.

insert your edge loop and paint that new loop as it should be

ah, i deleted non-deformer history, and now it works fine.

Did you have to repaint your skin-weights after you deleted history?
