Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Question about 4k and Maya

Hi all

I have just bitten the bullet and ordered a GTX 970 and also the samsung 4 k monitor. I have been looking online about support within maya for 4k. Some people have been saying that the UI is unreadable, however those posts were from 2012.

Is anyone here running maya at 4k? If so how are you finding it? Could you post some screenies of it also please.

Many thanks

Mythandra

Seems to not be great still. I know C4D has managed to create a good looking UI on the new 5K iMac. That being said, there's some extra work being done with the Mac OS to upres software. Some programs work better than others. I have no experience with a 4K PC. Interested to hear your feedback. This thread seems to hold a solution: https://forums.cgsociety.org/archive/.../t-955292.html
Though not as clean as if Autodesk shipped the UI 4K ready.

well both the GFX card and the monitor arrived. really impressed with the quality of the screen, maya seems to be working without issue.
