I have problems with Split Polygon Tool in Maya 2012 . The problem is , it is not recognizing Split only from edges and Use snapping point along the edge . Even after unchecking both the options , I am not able to create a polygon/edge on the polygonal surface . It works fine (as usual) if I check the both the options .
I tried 'Reset Tool' , and resetting the preferences , but it didn't work . So Please help me . I tried whatever I know . I can't proceed without that tool .
