This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
Are any other Maya users finding that they're being pushed to C4D at work or for work?
I work with people who are starting to learn it. I already am comfortable with Maya and would rather continuing to advance in it (on the company's dime ) instead of something I am less familiar with.
Maya has improved their text tools (via v2016, Ext. 1) and just acquired Mainframe's MASH, giving it some MoGraph-like features. And I've been importing Maya models into Element 3D to use them in After Effects.
While I think C4D is cool and has some unique features, I would like to leave that to people who love it and stay with what I love (Maya). I can't convince others though. Grrr.
