Objects not showing on negative translations

Hey guys, recently joined here and hoping to exchange more information in the future!

Case:
I have the following problem. When I move an object behind an axis it simply becomes invisible to the viewport (front view). How can I show objects that are translated into negative areas (negative z-values)? My goal is to use the 3d object as some kind of reference picture on the front view here.

First screen is showing the object in front of the z axis. Second screen behind + hidden in front view. user added image How can I make it visible no matter where the object is?

Hi there, thanks. How can I translate the basic camera away? The basic ones seem to be locked in the outliner.

hold down "ALT" and right mouse button, move from side to side. If you have a middle mouse wheel button you can use that.................dave

Hey there, thanks. But that does not fix the issue. You just gave me a basic camera movement trick. But I want to translate the camera itself. Just like i can translate and rotate shapes etc. But the basic ones like front, top and side view are kinda "locked".

I was trying to help you with not being able to see your mesh in front view not change a camera, if you want to change a camera rotation (they are locked for a reason) it is better to create a new camera then change that..............dave

Thanks so far. Thats a workaround. But why are the objects disappearing when I zoom to them. They are visible when the camera translates to it with the F-key but poof in front, side and top view when that camera translation is finished.

Hmm, that does not fix the problem unfortunately. Also exporting to another scene does not show the verticles behind the axis. user added image
