Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping

beveling...does....NOTHING.

I was working on a tutorial from another site(3D buzz, the tutorial being the Maya advanced modeling course), and my problem is that when I go to click on the option to bevel, nothing happens. I'm beveling edges by the way. I have followed the tutorial to a tee.user added image

Thank you. I don't know why when I used cleanup it didn't work, but when I used your specific settings it did....
