View port question.

Here's a dumb ass question user added image. How do you change the "front" view port to show a different view. Specifically, I would like it to show the "Back" view.

Thanks.

create > cameras > camera and aim.

Move your camera and aim, so that it aims the target from the back.

Choose your camera and in your frontview, select panels > look though selected.

Doesn't that give you a perspective camera, though?

Here's how I did it.

1) Go to Panels > Orthographic > New > Front

2) The new Front camera should be selected. Rename the new front1 camera to "back"

3) In the "back" camera's channel box, enter -180 into the "rotate Y" field.

4) Make an object, like a sphere.

5) Pick the "back" view and hit "f" to center the view on the sphere.

Then, it should behave just like you'd want a "back" view to behave.

Woo that works! I don't know why I didn't know those bookmarks were there!

However, you probably want to make a new "front" camera and rename it "back," THEN use the bookmark.
