the sound codec on the wmv is not working for me. and it could not be downloaded. so if the wmv is used as is, there should be a link to the codec. it is definately a differant codec than the other wmv tuts on SM, as they work for me. divx works fine though user added image

edit: wmv misspelled

Divx worked fine but the wmv didn't play audio because it's using "Windows Media Audio 9 Voice" codec and I don't have it.

I believe wmv9/wma9 aren't official yet so media player couldn't download the codec automatically... Imho it would be better to use version 8 until 9 is official.

Hi Kevin,
I'm on a Mac. The avi is perfect. The wmv is a problem, missing codec message, no sound.
Hope this helps.

Tested on my Mac. AVI works fine. No audio on WMV (missing codec).

AFAIK, the missing codec does not exist on the Mac. I used Windows Media Player for OSX, and it couldn't find a thing. I do know that WMP for OSX does not support the same features as WMP for Windows. I did some tests with Kbrown on his UV sets tutorial, and I think the only audio codec we got to work on the Mac was some form mpeg3 encoding (I think...).
