Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

AT-AT my first quality model

Myself and another modeller had the idea of making up a Star Wars scene, and this was my first contribution to the project.

Im hoping I can get some nice texturing to it, mostly a flat grey metal with some rust and dirt in places. But for now this is a GI_Joe'd render. Infact, does anyone know a good metal shader, not too shiney but a more a matt finish that looks good?

I believe the phrase is "C + C welcome"

Loosk really nice. Try playing with the aluminum shader on Highend3d. It seems to work really well.

Loose the small round thingy in its joints! user added image

It isn't "supposed" to look like that if I remember right.

It's just that it gives the joint a very simple look, like a pin was put though the joint.

Please don't mind. I'm in the mood now, as I am listening to SW music (Episode 4 death star attack).
