This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
One way of applying it is your Render global>Render Options Environment Fog. This will apply the the fog in your scene. You can edit the node by going to the Hypershade.
