This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
Well, my original idea didn't turn out as good as I'd have hoped, so instead, I think I'll model the guy I found in one of my art books. The (crappy) sketches are just for modeling purposes... I'll mostly be looking at the original drawing.
This one's gonna be quite a doozy if I can pull it under 1000 tris!
Well, I'll tell you, but no one go and steal it, cuz I might still do it. I'd much rather use my own ideas. Just gotta get it working on paper. lol I've done about 3 or 4 sketches and not liked any of them.
My original idea... A Demon Nazi Warrior! A killed Nazi from WWII has become a demon minion of Satan. mwa ha ha!
I like your origanla idea very much.. what you had started is also very nice. a demon nazi is a very intreging idea. steal it.. heck I'd rather help ya with it.. mind if I draw up a sketch or to ?? just for you ? or would you rather go this idea alone ? I understand if you do.
oh wow a demon nazi is a wicked idea! It rings a bell actually, im sure ive seen a similar drawing somewhere. Anyways, this is one model I cant wait to see, if u choose it that is - especially with a 1000 poly limit! Good luck Mike!!
wow man you are "crazy"...
are you going to model all those plates??? and you want to not outnumber 1000 polys... woaw this sounds for me or as a BIG challange or as a BIG craziness
hope you will manage to do it ??? even I'm pesimistic.
I will look further becouse you made me very, I said very courious!!!
Cheers.
