This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
i just want to know how to make fur to fur shadowing in maya more realistic? i have tested to make a scene: a sphere and a cone with different fur description, i made a spotlight and activated the fur shadowing, i rendered it and saw that the shadows that was from the fur of the cone to the fur of the sphere is not very visible or let say it is in a shade of lght gray.
thanx

Change your fur shading attributes under your Spotlight's Attributes from self-shade to shadow mapping. Also, make sure that fur shadows are enabled under the Fur Globals.
