Simple Exercise or Pro Problem ?

Hello friends !

I´ve created a polygone primitve cube. Than I splited one side to get a whole in the middle of the poly cube.

After that, I converted the PolyCube to a SubDiv.

Now I want, that the whole in the SubDiv Object isn´t round. The hole should be very sharp - exactly you can see in the polyObject.

How can I do that ?

Thank you for helping,

Select:

Select the SubD edges by right-clicking on the subd, then choose EDGE, select the edges that make up the hole, and go to:

SUBDIV SURFACE MENU > FULL CREASE EDGE/VERTEX

That might help for startersuser added image

For fun, check out what partial crease doesuser added image

If you don't want to use creasing, then add extra tightened edges around the hole area
