Help with face deletion

Ok, I deleted the inside faces of my little object, and I was left with a hole. The fill hole tool dont work(well, maybe I just dont know how to use it). How do I make it filled???

Edit polygon extrude edge. then you wil just have to merge vertices...

Hit the edge Icon Select the edge of the hole you want filled open edit polygons then find fill hole.user added image

Im with Izzy, and R-Tillery. Just extrude the edge over the hole. Works really good for me. Then just merge the verts (if you wanna, that is). user added image

Yes. Extruding the edge works. Dont know why i didnt think of it. The fill hole tool does not work in this case, as only two of the edges of the face-to-be exist.

I guess you have already figured it out but its Polygon > append to polygon tool....

Then just select the edges there need to be a new face between and hit enter..
