*.iff file format

SM Gang

Can anyone tell me if there is a way of opening *.iff files in Photoshop? I have version 7 on the Mac but I cannot see any *.iff filters. I know that I can save them in different formats *.tga etc from Maya but it would be handy to open Maya native format files in Photoshop.
