help to make a human body...

Hi everybody !

I'm back from holiday and i already started work...
Can anybody help me to making this object? I've not found any names for that but i don't know how to start making this. Which tool to use? Has nobody an idea?

I'm obliged of worked under Maya, but i'm from 3dsmax. I cannot change so simply user added image
