OBJ to Nurbs

Is there a way to get maya to import OBJ files as Nurbs surfaces?

I heard something about a setting i have to change. Is this even possible. i got a sales person saying it is.

As far as I know, .obj's are strictly polygon objects.

Hi Iron_Tick!

As you seem to be one of the (rather few) people who can actually afford a maintenance contract (I definitely can't!), could you please ask the AW support team if there is a workaround/solution to that nasty NURBS/DXF import/export issue?

This issue is making me sick!
