Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

newbie handle question

For whatever reason, that I haven't discovered yet, I have an IK handle that has it's transform handles in the wrong orientation. (Y handle is pointing along the x axis of the scene, etc.) How can I correct the orientation of the handles and reset them to the model?

Thanks much!

I am a newbie myself, but it might do some good to freeze the transformations of the handle, if that is even possible.

Ya, I played around with freeze and reset without any luck. If I understand correctly, freeze simply resets all your attributes to zero wherever it exists in the scene. I'm looking for something like the insert button, where you can move your orient point of an object, but here I want to rotate it instead of move it.

Thanks, though!
