character studio for maya?

has anyone heard anything about CS for Maya?

I found this link: https://tbyf.w15.dns110.com/dxawvf/3dx.htm but I cant make out whats on the page?!?!?


whats the deal? CS for 3DS is a procedural biped skeletal system right? that would be sweet if we had that for maya, and free too!!

I really don't like Character Studio.
What's wrong with animating by hand? you can get a lot of more personality in your character by doing things this way
....just my point of view
