This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Looks like a Edit Nurbs > Attach Surface to me.

and then all of a sudden the isoparms between the two surfaces align themselves? well i got to try that.

if you follow that tutorial, he keeps his spans matching. Make sure your surfaces have matching spans and surface directions before attaching.

thank you master. i didnt pay attention to that particular issues ( even though i have watched the shark tutorial, where the rebuilding process to match the number of cvs on every curve was shown )...

i got gnomon's nurbs modelling part 3, the gtp race car. i followed it, then i tried to model a mclaren f1. didnt work! i lost control over the shape of the surface...so i tried to find a better tutorial for modelling a car. i was exhausted.

i hope there will be a long, thorough car modelling tutorial from simply maya. that would be my number one wish list.
