Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Quick question for ya

When you start maya, what do you see? Does the windows just pop up ready to design? I get a little loading windows with a picture on it. The picture seems like Its the begining of an animation but the animation dosnt play, its just one blured frame of the inside of the Maya's weird A. Just wonder.

I get a window with a pic in it (some shiny thing made in Maya)
about 400*250 I think.

i get a Maya 5 with concentric circles.... then the face of jesus. he winks at me and points to jim morrison in the background. they both look very happy user added image

I cant seem to get a shot of it. I hit PrintScreen when its up, but Maya is maxing out my CPU, so it dosnt print until the windows has just opened. Wierd!

There is a little freeware tool that is dedicated to taking screenshots: ScreenHunter.
