uv snaphot

Hi... again ( i will get the hang of this...promise ;-) , i'm trying to take a uv snaphot of my well... uv map but when i try and save it it comes up with the error: invalid output format: tga ( or what ever file i have chosen to save as ) the only one that works is iff format but that won't open in photoshop.

What am i doing wrong this timeuser added image

np, ive done it not sure what was going on but i just quit maya started up again used the same proccess but this time it worked???

Not sure what the problem is, but you can use this photoshop plug-in from Alias to open IFF in Photoshop.

which is worth getting because depth channels are only available in iff format files. So if you wanna use them in photoshop you will need that plugin user added image
